COOKIES
another kid's
favorite...and very easy to make
MIX WELL:
1 c. coconut
PUT IN SAUCEPAN:

½ c. butter

2 c. sugar
-
½ c. milk
-
1 tsp. salt
Place over heat,
stir until boiling. Boil for 2 minutes. Add 1 tsp. vanilla. Pour over first
mixture. Drop from spoon onto waxed paper lined cookie sheet. Refrigerate
until firm.

COCOA
KRISPIE ROLL
3/4 c. peanut
butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 T. butter or
margarine
4½ c. krispie cereal
1/3 c. butter or
margarine
2 T. milk
1½ c. icing sugar
2/3 c. cocoa
Cook syrup & sugar
until sugar dissolves and bubbles. Remove; blend peanut butter and 2 T.
butter. Add krispie cereal; mix well. Press into buttered jelly roll pan
(15x10x3/4'). Melt 1/3 c. butter and milk. Remove from heat. Sift icing
sugar and cocoa; mix well. Remove krispie mixture from pan and spread with
cocoa mixture. Roll from short end to form a log shape. Wrap in waxed paper
and refrigerate. Remove 30 minutes before serving. Slice.
